There are many definitions and diverse uses of the concept of sustainable development, come from different disciplines with different assumptions, the ideas of sustainable development have a long history in the etiquette of economic, social and environmental development, and the excessive use of the term in different fields led to confusion and overlap in what is meant by it, which prompted many thinkers to describe the term as: a vague but creative phrase, and that it is an attractive and intuitive concept, but slippery, or that: The idea of sustainable development is fraught with contradictions, and its ambiguity enables it to transcend the tensions inherent in its meaning, Or that: sustainable development is an overused and misunderstood term, but at the same time sustainable development cannot be separated from the full development of society. The term sustainability has long roots in the economic literature and its use arose and spread with the development of economic and social activity, and the idea of sustainable development extended into the depths of economic thought, especially with regard to the concept of scarcity or lack of development of resources in accordance with human needs or taking into account future generations. On the other hand, the concept of sustainable development has developed in the past two decades tremendously, and has become the main concern of the concerns and goals of the United Nations, which launched the last slogan of the 2030 strategy.
