Recently, behavioral deviations abound, and the transformation of the Muslim community, with the Arab society at its core, under the threat of family fragmentation, scattering and sighing, as sinful tendencies and forbidden desires controlled the hearts of many of those who have no creativity or dignity, so they rushed to wreak havoc on the earth, and their crime was pervasive and obliterated until it turned into what can be considered a societal phenomenon, and its manifestations varied and varied to the extent that the legislator decided on the provisions of penalties for it. Among these ugly acts, which the legislator considered a crime punishable by law, is extortion, whether directly, or through electronic tools, The latter increased its danger, especially with its entry into every Arab and non-Arab home. Extortion through electronic means is considered a crime introduced by the legislator because its tools are an accident, and they constitute harm to the entire society, institutions and individuals; Penetrating state institutions through electronic devices, blackmailing them, threatening their security and exposing it to danger, or this may be by destroying the database on these computers, and therefore many countries considered it a serious crime, and the Penal Code stipulated its criminalization and punishment, including the United Arab Emirates in the Law on Combating Information Technology Crimes.
