The rights of persons with disabilities and mechanisms for their protection in light of the 2006 United Nations Convention, with reference to the position of the State of Kuwait

Abstract

Since the beginning of the last century, the international community has been interested in protecting the rights of persons with disabilities and has recognized their rights in many international conventions, and this protection has evolved and increased interest in it with the increase in military conflicts and revolutions in the world, and then their number has increased, reaching today nearly one billion people, or representing 15% of the world's population.
