The role of civil society organizations in combating poverty and achieving sustainable development "Egypt Vision 2020-2030"

Abstract

The axis of sustainable development is the most important directions of civil society activity in general, and NGOs in particular in Egypt, in recent years the world has begun to be interested in the idea of sustainable development, which takes into account the economic, social and environmental dimensions instead of focusing on the economic aspect only, and since the beginning of 2016 sustainable development has a clear framework represented in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030, which were adopted by the United Nations  Governments, civil society organizations and the private sector have begun to develop a national strategy to achieve sustainable development. Egypt's Vision 2030 focuses on improving the quality of life of the Egyptian citizen and improving his standard of living in various aspects of life, and the political leadership has announced that 2022 is the year of civil society, Poverty eradication is the goal par excellence of the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a long-term development research problem that takes into account the rights of future generations to the earth's resources.
