Praise be to Allah and prayers and peace be upon our master the Messenger of Allah and after, this is a research entitled « The role of zakat in achieving sustainable development » Egyptian Zakat and Charity House as a model. This research consists of an introduction, three sections and a conclusion that included the most important results and recommendations that I concluded, and the research dealt with the concept of zakat in Islamic jurisprudence,  And its legitimate banks, and the funds that must be therein, and the legal rooting for it, then the research dealt with the nature of sustainable development, and its characteristics, objectives, principles, importance, and components, Then the research dealt with the role of Zakat in achieving sustainable development, represented by this in one of the Zakat institutions as a model, which is the Egyptian House of Zakat and Charity and its contributions to achieving sustainable development, then the conclusion and includes the most important results drawn from the study, then indexes of sources, references and topics.
