Abstract

The right to form NGOs is a constitutional right recognized in democratic countries, as enshrined in various international conventions. Article 75 of the current Egyptian Constitution guarantees the right of citizens to form associations and civil institutions. NGOs are considered one of the legitimate channels through which the development of society is achieved and the promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms are achieved.
