Abstract

Digital human rights are witnessing successive developments in light of the digital transformation in various institutions, There is no doubt that these developments will affect the human right to a digital identity. Which represents a new form of presence in the information space imposed by the digital age on all institutions and individuals, This presence can only be achieved by having a digital identity that expresses every person who is dealt with, whether with other individuals or with the administration. The state institutions must strive towards consolidating the elements of this identity from the constitutional and legislative perspectives, and facing its technical and legal challenges. In addition to the need to criminalize digital identity theft, as it constitutes an invasion of privacy.
