Legal guarantees granted to foreign direct investment under Egyptian and UAE legislation

Abstract

Most countries, whether developed or developing, have tended to open their doors to foreign direct investment, and this type of investment has become an area of competition between countries and an arena for decisive competition towards avoiding more of them, and foreign investment plays a major role in the development process, as most developing countries resort to attracting these investments to finance their national projects and solve their economic problems, and despite that, these investments may negatively affect the economic interests of both the host country and foreign investments.It is natural that both the investor and the host country has a number of goals that make each seek to work with the other party in order to achieve these goals in order to obtain an interest, and usually the host country for investments carries out many procedures, including administrative and legal, to encourage investors to carry out the investment process.
