The crime of torturing the accused to induce him to confess falls within the scope of the special section of the Penal Code, and belongs to the category of crimes of assault on the right to bodily integrity, although its text did not come within the crimes mentioned in Chapter One (murder, wounding and beating) of Book Three of the Penal Code, and it occurred within the crimes of Chapter VI of Book Two of the Penal Code; Violating the integrity of the body of the accused to induce him to confess violates the integrity of the investigation and the dignity of the public office, and torturing the human being is a crime that is a crime against humanity and all civilized societies, as well as international conventions, and is criminalized by most of the internal laws in contemporary legal systems.
