Islamic sanctities are of great importance in the hearts of Muslims, because they constitute a religious, spiritual and historical dimension as well in the history of this nation, and occupy a great place for them, because religion is based on these sanctities, and any infringement on them in any way, may lead to serious consequences that cannot be expected, and the multiplicity of these sanctities, the most important of which is the divine self of God Almighty, as well as the Holy Qur'an, and the prophets sent, And places of worship, and the inclusions of religion in general. Therefore, the Omani legislator has devoted Article 269 of the Penal Code to the protection of these sanctities, which we will deal with in this chapter in detail.
