Protect the right to image in the face of the use of surveillance cameras in public places.

Abstract

Rights and freedoms occupy a high social value in the hearts of human beings, as they are linked to their lives, existence and non-existence, which called for most of the heavenly laws and man-made legislation to decide and ensure their protection, and on top of those legislations comes the Islamic Sharia glue, so it confirmed the freedom of man stemming from honoring Allah Almighty for him and preferring him over all his creatures. Among the most important of these rights: the right to privacy, it is one of the rights attached to the human personality, the human being by nature has his secrets and his private life, and does not cease from this right or separate from the right of man in his image, and there is no doubt that the highest goal of the Constitution and the law is to protect the rights and freedoms of individuals in general, especially those inherent to his personality, whether related to the physical entity or the legal entity to him, against any kind of violation or even prejudice, whether from the state authorities or From other than the With the continuous revolution of technological progress and the use of photographic and recording techniques by the state and individuals, some rights associated with their practices in public places are threatened with violation, including individual such as the right to privacy and the right to privacy, and collective, such as the right to hold public meetings and the right to demonstrate.
