The obligation to inform is the best way to maintain the existing trust between the doctor and his patient, and this commitment also gives a kind of immunity, if it is true, which exempts the doctor from responsibility when starting treatment because he is assured that he has fulfilled the duty of informing to the fullest, and also gives the patient the freedom to decide his matter, either by refusing treatment or going into it. The Kingdom of Bahrain has paid great attention to the medical profession from a legislative point of view, and therefore Decree-Law No. 2 of 1987 was issued. With regard to the practice of medical professions by non-doctors, Decree-Law No. 7 of 1989 was issued, and these decrees stressed the importance of the medical profession and the need to obtain a license to practice it, and not to deviate from the values, traditions and ethics of the profession.
