Abstract

Sentencing a Muslim to apostasy is one of the most serious issues suffered by Muslims in the past centuries and its dangers still surround Muslims everywhere, because of the severe effects of this ruling from the obligation to kill the apostate and confiscate his money and differentiate between him and his wife and the inadmissibility of praying for him or burying him in Muslim cemeteries to other provisions resulting from this apostasy and therefore Islamic law decided a number of strict rules and controls before the issuance of such a judgment, whether in the accused apostasy himself or in his words or deeds attributed to him, as well as the conditions to be met by the person issuing this judgment, as well as the conditions for the execution of the penalty and the conditions of pardon for it.
