The aim of the research is to analyze the general principles and legal standards established by the International Convention on the Rights of the Child to protect him from neglect, abuse and exploitation, and to guarantee his basic human rights in light of the minimum standards for child protection in humanitarian situations (CPMS), and to shed light on the rights of the child in various fields and social fields. In light of those criteria, especially those related to the qualitative response to protecting the child and meeting his needs. The research relied on the analytical rooting approach, and reached several results, the most important of which is that the Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Situations (CPMS) aims to establish common principles among child protection workers and strengthen coordination between them, improve the quality of child protection programs and their impact on children, in addition to improving Accountability mechanisms within the work related to child protection and the provision of a grouped package of rational practices on the risks, needs and responses related to child protection, as well as the provision of an integrated set of agreed norms specifically related to child protection work in humanitarian frameworks. The research recommended working on publishing minimum standards for child protection in Humanitarian conditions (CPMS) and raising awareness of them among all members of society, and not limiting this to scholars and concerned bodies only.
