Abstract

The paragraph discusses the expansion of digital evidence and its practical application. The expansion necessitates the need to protect this type of evidence, with a focus on procedural criminal protection. The text acknowledges a limitation to this specific form of protection, raising concerns about its effectiveness in achieving comprehensive protection for digital evidence. This led to the identification of procedural rulings guiding the extraction of digital evidence and aspects of investigating crimes involving such evidence. Utilizing the principles of comparative analytical methodology, the text presents several findings and recommendations. Key among them is the absence of federal UAE regulations governing control procedures and the organization of expertise in the technological environment. This prompted a proposal for addressing these results and urging lawmakers to enact appropriate legislative interventions.
