The world is currently undergoing a journey filled with rapid and changing developments that have contributed to creating a new climate of political and economic relations, based on fierce competition in various fields and a race to conclude regional and global trade and economic agreements; thus, the borders of the world have become open to each other in light of the efforts made by countries to remove the restrictions and barriers that were greatly limiting the freedom of goods and services exchange among different countries. In 1991, when the government considered achieving economic reform as its primary goal, Egypt adopted policies to reform and liberalize its economy to be able to keep up with regional and global changes. The policy of economic and administrative reform is of great importance for economic growth; therefore, all Arab countries - especially Egypt - have taken steps towards economic reform in recent times, which has led to an increase in investment. Although these reforms in Egypt have achieved some positive results that contributed to creating a favorable environment for attracting investment, there are still many steps that Egypt needs to complete.
