"Climate change" is considered one of the most significant contemporary issues, attracting the attention of both national and international legislators due to its seriousness and negative impact on human society as a whole; the gravity of this phenomenon is highlighted by its causing some emerging manifestations on the planet, the most important of which are rising temperatures and the subsequent consequences, including a decrease in water resources and the spread of drought in many regions of the world, the encroachment of desertification on green spaces, in addition to the melting of ice in polar regions which leads to rising water levels in large water bodies such as oceans and seas; this casts a shadow over the entire ecological system and its plant and animal contents.
