Foreign direct investment (FDI) is one of the most important means of external financing in developing countries, as it contributes to enhancing these countries' needs for foreign currency. This study aims to analyze the determinants of FDI in the oil sector in Libya and compare them with other countries. A comparative analytical methodology was used, relying on secondary data from reliable sources. The study found that political stability, encouraging legislation, and the availability of natural resources are the main factors influencing the attraction of foreign investments in the oil sector.
