Abstract

Rights and freedoms hold a high social value for humans, as they are intrinsically linked to their existence. Among the most important of these rights is the right to privacy. By nature, a person has their secrets and personal connections, and can only enjoy these attributes if they are left in a space that protects their right to a private life in its various aspects. Every individual has the right to respect for their private life. The Creator, Almighty God, commanded that angels prostrate to our master Adam; thus, humans are God's vicegerents on Earth and must have their dignity protected. The right does not merely pertain to the right to life; it has evolved into the enjoyment of various aspects of life within the boundaries of the law. Every person has the right to have a private area of life that others must not trespass into. God Almighty has explained the right to privacy in His precious Book. The constitutional protection of the human right to privacy is a relatively modern protection, and the right itself is relatively new. This may be due to the connection between violations of this right and advancements in science and technology, as well as the development of media and publication means that have begun to devour the individual and sever their connection to themselves and the things and people around them. Protecting individual freedoms is one of the most sacred duties and responsibilities placed upon society as a whole, and there is no way to achieve that protection except by respecting the law.
