It also reviews the current laws in both Kuwait and Egypt, shedding light on legislative shortcomings and the main challenges facing the regulation of cloud storage services, such as data sovereignty and cross-border data transfer. Through a comparison of the three legal frameworks, the study reveals differences in the level of protection and regulation among them, calling for the adoption of unified legal strategies to enhance security and privacy in cloud storage. It provides recommendations for developing laws in line with international frameworks, considering the economic and social differences in Kuwait and Egypt. The study concludes that collaboration between governments and private entities is crucial to enhancing cybersecurity and updating legislation to ensure data protection in the digital transformation era.
