The impact of resignation on the vacancy of the presidency.

Abstract

The resignation of the head of state is one of the most important matters that deserve research. This is because it is linked to the position of the President of the Republic, and as one of the cases in which that important and dangerous position becomes vacant when it is achieved, as the term of the resigned president ends, whether the presidential term is permanent as in the hereditary systems, or it is temporary as in the republican systems, in both of them it cannot be ignored. Resignation as a right of the President of the Republic. Behind the resignation may be obvious, unquestionable, voluntary reasons and other hidden coercive reasons that compel the president to submit his resignation, and the president must justify and take into account in submitting his resignation the conditions of the state and the national interest.
