Abstract

Freshwater plays a vital role in human life, whether in terms of direct human needs, whether domestic or personal, or in food production in its various forms, whether agricultural, industrial, or fishery. Freshwater is linked to river waters. In light of modern developments, it is essential to provide information to anticipate climate conditions and take necessary precautions to protect human life, and digital transformation and government digitization assist in obtaining this information. This modern technological development can provide important indicators in a way that becomes clear to decision-makers, which would have been obscure without such advancements. We should consider the importance of the right to access information about the environment in general and about riverine environments in particular, along with the constitutional right to obtain such information and the legal right as well. We can cite international society, including agreements and court rulings that support the right to access information, as long as it falls within the legal scope.
