Charitable acts such as donations, wills, and endowments are widespread because they strengthen social cohesion and promote economic development, as well as reflect the desire for benevolence and reward encouraged by Islamic law, with the aim of building a capable and cohesive state through legislation that fosters solidarity and mutual support among members of society. This involves the Muslim contributing to all voluntary works and expending effort and resources for goodness, kindness, and assistance in life's difficulties and challenges, especially since a Muslim's wealth is considered a gift from God. The UAE legislator has been keen to clarify and ensure the donor's consent, full capacity, and definite intention, free from any doubt regarding the donation, while also protecting others from potential harm resulting from such charitable actions, for example creditors of the donor or relatives entitled to maintenance and inheritance. Therefore, attention is required to the rules and specific conditions of such acts, which are not shared by any other type of transaction.
