Abstract

The research aims to assess the potential for technological and industrial cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) within emerging markets. This study is based on the increasing importance of international partnerships in promoting economic growth, technological progress, and industrial development. By assessing current economic conditions, technological capabilities, and industrial strength, the research seeks to identify opportunities, challenges, and strategic approaches to enhance cooperation. The results provide insights into the formulation of policies, investment strategies, and cooperative frameworks that can benefit all parties involved Attracting foreign direct investment from BRICS countries would support the development of key sectors identified by Vision 2030, and joint projects and partnerships would bring capital, technology and expertise, which would accelerate economic growth and development, and enable access to new markets: enhancing Trade relations with BRICS countries would open new markets for Saudi products and services, and exporting goods such as petrochemicals, plastics, and fertilizers to BRICS countries would enhance the Kingdom’s non-oil exports.
