Abstract

Every person enjoys a set of fundamental rights without which they cannot live, and everyone is equal in these rights throughout the ages and across different times. Among these rights, the right to private life is considered one of the most important rights necessary for the lives of all individuals. The sense of security, tranquility, and freedom can only be achieved by protecting and preserving private life. The right to personal privacy and its protection is considered an ancient right and has been a matter of concern since ancient times. It has grown in importance with the development of life, the intertwining of relationships, communication means, monitoring and surveillance, and the evolution of work, its nature, and methods of practice. This has sometimes made the discussion of private life and keeping it separate from work complex, which necessitated legislative intervention to provide the necessary protection to preserve and safeguard individual private life. The legislative intervention was not limited to the domestic level but extended to international intervention to ensure the highest degree of legal protection.
