Abstract

Pandemics are global health crises that cause widespread death and serious health suffering. Delinquencies affect all members of society, but their impact is more severe and harsh on the weak groups in society. Such as the elderly, people with disabilities, and children. Pandemics affect many children's rights. Foremost among these are the rights to life, health, care, protection from violence and exploitation, and education. Pandemics cause major legal impacts on children’s rights, as when they occur, governments are forced to take many decisions, legal measures, and precautionary measures to confront them and protect the population, but these decisions, measures, and procedures may affect children’s rights, especially since children are an age group that is considered vulnerable and needs protection. Special protection and care. Therefore, pandemics pose a major challenge to preserving children's rights. For example, closing schools and suspending lessons has a negative impact on the child’s right to education, especially in developing countries that cannot provide distance education. Pandemics can also affect children's rights to protection and care;  Therefore, there is a fundamental and necessary need to emphasize the rights of children during pandemics, because they are the most vulnerable to discrimination, neglect, violence and exploitation, and need special social and psychological protection and care.
