The phenomenon of corruption in all its different forms and types is considered a dangerous phenomenon because of its severe damage to the national economy. Alost no country is devoid of this phenomenon, even if it differs in the degree of severity from one country to another according to the degree of its progress among nations. Therefore, it was necessary to address this phenomenon by research and study and trying to know and understand the causes leading to this phenomenon, as well as the impact of that phenomenon on sustainable development, the means of combating corruption, and the efforts made by the state to overcome this phenomenon.
