Abstract

Energy has been and still is the main engine of economic growth, it enjoys the attention of all countries of the world, and the electricity crisis in Egypt is an escalating crisis that requires confronting it and working to develop solutions to it, in order to raise its negative impact on the various sectors of the economy, this research aims to investigate the nature of renewable energy sources and their economic role in order to answer a key question: Are renewable energy sources able to improve the efficiency of production processes?
