Legal protection of tourists in contracts for tourist packages in accordance with UAE legislation.

Abstract

The importance of this study is to explore the significance of legal protection for tourists in tourist package contracts under UAE legislation. Tourists face many risks in countries they travel to, and therefore require legal protection to ensure fair treatment and the preservation of their rights. UAE legislation includes protection of tourists' rights in tourist package contracts, including the type of service, costs, cancellation and change-related conditions and terms. Tourism service providers are required to have comprehensive insurance for tourists and to provide the electronic address of the consumer protection management in contracts. The legislation stipulates that no manipulation of any information provided to tourists is permissible, including information related to travel, accommodation, tourist visits, entertainment, and shopping. Tourism service providers are required to comply with regulations and rules defined to protect tourists' rights.
