-It has been founded in 1986 in the name Journal of Legal and Economic Research, issued by the Faculty of Law – Mansoura University. 

-The journal is issued quarterly in March, June, September, December each year. It aims to publish a series of legal and economic research for in Arabic, English, and French languages within the framework of research plan approved by the department and faculty council provided that the number of research pages does not exceed 20 pages.

-The journal has a widespread basis through the annual subscription system of and through its distribution inside and outside Arab Republic of Egypt as well as book fairs in which the journal participates.
